Description
The Commodore 16 is an 8-bit home computer released by Commodore in 1984. It was designed as an entry-level system to replace the VIC-20 and compete in the low-cost computer market. Powered by the MOS 7501 CPU and featuring the TED multimedia chip, the Commodore 16 offered improved graphics and sound compared to the VIC-20, but was not compatible with Commodore 64 software.
