Description

The Pannonia TL 250 is a classic Hungarian touring motorcycle manufactured by Pannonia, a renowned motorcycle brand produced by the Csepel Works in Budapest. Introduced during the post-war era, the TL series became one of the most successful motorcycles exported from Hungary and gained popularity throughout Eastern Europe and several international markets. Powered by a reliable 250 cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine, the motorcycle was valued for its durability, straightforward mechanical design and ease of maintenance. Originally, this example featured a beautiful chrome-plated fuel tank, one of the most distinctive styling elements of the model. Unfortunately, the original tank was irreparably damaged during an attempted restoration carried out by a craftsman to whom it had been entrusted. As a result, an important original component of the motorcycle and part of its historical character was lost. Despite this setback, the motorcycle remains an important example of Central European motorcycle engineering and is preserved as part of a vintage motorcycle collection, representing the rich motorcycling heritage of the former Eastern Bloc.
