Description

The REX Datentechnik Goliath EPROM Programmer (REX 9655) is a classic vintage EPROM programming device designed for use with the Commodore 64. Manufactured in Germany by REX Datentechnik, the Goliath was based on the earlier Micro-Maxi-Prommer design and was developed to support a wide range of 27-series EPROM devices. The programmer connects to the C64 User Port and is controlled through dedicated Goliath-Prommer software. The original software is preserved today as the Goliath-Prommer disk image, identified in the MAME software archive as REX 9655. Supports a range of 27-series EPROMs, including devices such as 2716, 2732, 2764, 27128 and 27256, depending on the software/hardware configuration
